A plain-language summary of what happens to your data, written so you can quote it in an ethics application.

What we store

  • Your email address (and your name, if you sign in with Google).
  • Your API keys, encrypted. We never show them again after you save them; only the last four characters are displayed.
  • The spreadsheets you upload.
  • Your runs: the configuration, the model outputs, scores, and the exported files.

Who receives your data

When you start a run, the rows of your spreadsheet (filled into your prompt) are sent to the model providers you picked for that run, using your own API key. Nothing is sent to providers you did not pick, and nothing is sent before you start a run.

Each provider handles that data under its own terms. Some free tiers may use submitted data to improve their products. Google says this applies to the free tier of the Gemini API. Check the provider's terms before uploading sensitive or personal data. If your ethics approval does not allow sending data to third parties, do not use hosted models for it.

We do not sell your data or use it to train models.

How long we keep it

We keep your data until you delete it.

  • Deleting a run removes its outputs and files.
  • Deleting a dataset removes the file and every run that used it.
  • Deleting your account (Settings) removes your keys, files, runs, and results immediately.

Where it is stored

Your account and run records are stored in our database, and uploaded files and exports in our file storage. [Operator: name the hosting providers and regions, and how long backups are kept.]
